Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland is the only Scottish charity, which seeks to increase public awareness and understanding of individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.

Over 4,000 children and adults in Scotland are affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus and we aim to support them by identifying their needs and empowering them to make informed choices and decisions.

Your donations will make a bigger impact than you can imagine. Each year we need to raise over £1.4 million to support over 4,000 children, young people, adults and their parents/carers in Scotland who are affected by the lifelong, complex disabilities of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

Thanks to donors we will be able to fund a wide range of essential services to improve quality of life; Family Support Workers who can visit new babies in hospital and provide intensive support to parents; family support groups which provide networks of support to parents and children to reduce isolation; information and training sessions to health and education specialists; as well as the SBH Scotland Helpline which supports those in need of help.
