What we do

Cancer Support Scotland is here for anyone affected by cancer be it the patient, their family or friends.

We provide talking and complementary therapies free of charge as well as support groups and up to date, relevant information. Complementary therapies available to anyone affected by cancer include Reiki, reflexology, massage, aromatherapy and hypnotherapy. The services our therapists provide can help reduce the fear a cancer diagnosis can bring, they can help with anxiety and depression and they can help with managing the pain associated with cancer treatments.

Please watch our video of one of our service users, Morag, talking about her experience and how Cancer Support Scotland helped her: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJwdh35BPg0

How you can help

By joining Team Cancer Support Scotland you will be helping a small Scottish charity that provides support and care at a local level. The money that you raise by taking part will allow us to provide essential and valued services to thousands of people affected by cancer in Scotland.

To give you an idea of how your money is used - it costs £30 for us to deliver one of our therapies to a service user. So if you raise £180 you would be providing a full course of 6 complementary or talking therapies to someone who is struggling to cope with a cancer diagnosis. Raising more money will be helping even more people!

Fundraise for us!
By joining the team, we will provide you with a tshirt for the day, fundraising ideas and sponsorship forms

There is a £25 registration fee and a minimum of £150 sponsorship to raise for the charity. (excludes any Gift Aid)

Once you have registered for the event we will email you details on how to pay your entry fee. For more inforamtion please contact Gwen on 0141 337 8199 or email [email protected]nd.org

Thank you and good luck!!
